Therapy Options

Since my core belief acknowledges that therapy needs to recognise the uniqueness of everyone’s life experiences, I aim to provide therapy in a variety of ways that can hopefully meet the individual needs of the people that I work with.

Face to Face Therapy

Initially this would involve meeting weekly at my practice at The Practice Rooms (www.thepracticerooms.co.uk), which is conveniently based in Leeds city centre.

I am comfortable working over a timeframe and at a pace that feels right to you. This might be over the short term, typically around 6 sessions or on a longer more open-ended model depending on the individual and the topics that we are working with.

Online Therapy

I am aware that it can be difficult to commit to travelling to the practice and that some people for various reasons may prefer to not meet in person for therapy.

I am therefore able to offer the option of working together online via Microsoft Teams. This would initially be on a weekly basis at a time that was mutually agreed between us.

Walk and Talk Therapy

For many people today, feeling disconnected from the world around us can be due to a wide range of modern life factors. I have therefore undertaken training to allow me to take my practice outside and into the natural world.

This form of therapy with its side-by-side approach can be beneficial to those who might find working face to face difficult or who feel more comfortable in open environments. This therapy is available to suitable clients during daylight hours.
